Unfortunately this was worst customer-service experience of my life, and I wish I had never set my foot in that store! I really don't want someone else to have this kind of Horrible experience, I did share this experience with many colleagues, friends and family....

I have purchased frames and contacts from Hakim for years. However today, I encountered such disrespect and unprofessionalism from the store manager at Rogers and Keele St. (Michelle I believe is her name) that I doubt I will ever return, and certainly never to that...

I took my prescription in Oct 2017 and when the glasses arrived they made my vision totally blurry. I went back and the optometrist told me I had cataracts and needed to have surgery. Went back to Hakim and they told me no problem when the cataract surgery is done...

Cheap tactics to mint money. Need to come for lens fitting even if their doctor has checked and prescribed. Then for lens prescription you need to pay them extra. As if they are gonna check 2 different eyes.

The doctor didn't put lenses into your eyes therefore didn't prescribe you contacts. It is legal requirements for a "fitting" to be done before dispensing contacts in ontario....

Hakim Optical - Money minting tactics

I have been wearing contact lens for 13 years. But according to them I need to come for lens fitting and charge for it is $35. Then you do eye check up with them and they will give you only glass prescription and not contact lens prescription. Contact lens prescription is additional charges. As if they are gonna check eyes again.

I purchased 2 pairs of progressive glasses for myself in May 2018 paying a little over $800 combined. I noticed what I thought was a smudge on the lenses and upon further inspection could see small numbers and letters etched into the glass on both pairs and all lenses....
